Nutmeg Essential Oil (Myristica fragrans) has a sweet, warm, spicy scent similar to the spice commonly used in cooking. Comforting and soothing, nutmeg oil helps boost energy. Nutmeg also supports nervous and endocrine systems and prostaglandin balance.* Nutmeg has an approximate ORAC of 1,581,360 (TE/L). TE/L is expressed as micromole Trolox equivalent per liter.
Historical Data: Nutmeg was listed in Hildegard's Medicine, a compilation of early German medicines by highly-regarded Benedictine herbalist Hildegard of Bingen (1098-1179). Recently the University of Ibadan revealed that nutmeg essential oil has potent properties that reduce inflammation.

How to use: For dietary or topical use. Dilute 1 part Nutmeg essential oil with 2 parts organic vegetable oil. Apply directly on location, chakras/Vita Flex points, directly inhale, diffuse, or take as a dietary supplement. When using as a supplement, dilute one drop of Nutmeg essential oil in 4 fl. oz. of liquid such as soy or rice milk. Possible skin sensitivity. If pregnant or under a doctor's care, consult your physician. Do not use near fire, flame, heat or spark. Dilution recommended for both topical and internal use. Dilute before using on sensitive areas such as the face, neck, genital area, etc. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid using on infants and very small children.
