Thyroid Protocol from 2008 Ecuador Notes - Anita Welsh Bell
Check Thyroid by temperature, you should be a good digital thermometer which will probably cost $129-$159.
Check your temperature when you first wake (before ever getting out of bed) take in... armpit and read, then check other armpit and read. Keep a journal log and see pattern. Temp should be 97.6 F (36 degrees C).If temp 1 degree down, take 2 Thyromin at night time (Thyromin will go to gland in demand). Start with 2 at night, times 3 nights. If temp not increased by 3rd night, increase to 4 at night (times 3 more nights). If temp not increased again, then start 1 in AM (plus the 4 at night), by 6th morning of 1 in AM and 4 at night, recheck temp. If by 10th morning temp not up add 1 at lunch, go 3 more mornings, if temp not up, increase 1 more at night, 3 more mornings, add 1 more in AM (my notes are not exact, but you get the idea) Gary stated that if it doesn't come up it could be based on what you are eating, may cause Thyroid to not come up. Keep a log of what you are eating. Might be lettuce or tomato, you never know. Food allergies could compromise Thyroid/Thyromin.
Gary has had patients on Thyromin up to 27 at night. If temp not coming up could be starch or carbohydrate not digesting, use Carbozyme and temp may come up. Get enzymes in around 5-7 pm. Thyroid has to have minerals to function. If taking Thyromin and temp not going up add Mineral Essence.
You can get Thyroid compromise every time you fly. Radiation from flying attacks the thyroid directly. Take Thyromin, 2 at night before flying for 3-4 days and then 10 days after flying. Gary takes 2 Thyromin and 2 Teststop to keep going with a busy schedule and less sleep. Endoflex: It was designed specifically for to bring balance to the endocrine system. It supports the pineal and pituitary glands as well as the adrenal, thymus and parathyroid glands. Use EndoFlex along with oils such as myrrh or myrtle as natural remedies for thyroid problems including hyperthyroid and hypothyroid. It also helps to bring hormonal balance to the body and may help to alleviate hot flashes, ease cramps and provide relief for PMS. Because it improves metabolic function, it may help to stimulate weight loss as well. Balancing hormones depends on so many factors. So you may have to experiment with several oil blends to see what works best for you. As a rule of thumb, Dragon Time has been most successful for women up to 30 years old. For women between 30-45, Mister has worked best and for women over 45, EndoFlex essential oil is a good choice. For men, EndoFlex, Dragon Time and Mister Essential Oils are all natural prostate remedies. They all help decongest and balance the hormones. But since everyone's body chemistry is different, one may work better than the other; or a combination of several may help.

Dr. Purser's suggested use:
- It is not necessary to use according to your female cycle, daily use is fine, but you can use according to your cycle.
- Apply to clean dry skin, such as after a bath or shower. As oils build up on the skin during the day, better absorption will occur if the skin is clean and warm.
- Use as often as desired, generally one to two drops on the neck over the carotid arteries, temples, jaw, forearm, spine, etc. every hour or until symptoms are gone.
- Once you are feeling better, then you can adjust the amount used.
- Do not use with medically prescribed progestins or birth control pills.
- Symptoms of nausea may occur within the first couple hours as the body gets used to the progesterone, apply more and they will dissipate.
