Young Living's compensation plan gives you 9 different ways to generate income.
- Start Living Enrollment Kit Bonus
Get a one-time $25 bonus with each new distributor you enroll with a Start Living Enrollment Kit (115 PV+). - Star Performance Bonus
Available to all distributors, this bonus offers quick compensation – 25% on first-month purchases by each new distributor you enroll; and 15% commission on their second consecutive month of purchases. - Matching Bonus
Young Living will match the commission your newly enrolled distributors earn with the Star Performance Bonus in their first three months. - Distributor Team Performance Bonus
This ongoing monthly bonus – with $100, $500 and $2,000 levels – rewards you for building teams of six personally sponsored distributors with qualifying monthly autoship orders. - Personal Rebate
Earn up to a 10% rebate on your personal orders, as well as additional profit on your preferred customers. - Customer and Preferred Customer Earnings
Earn up to 24% commission on products sold to Customers and up to 12% on products sold to Preferred Customers. - Unilevel Commission
As you build your organization and advance in rank, you’ll earn an increasing percentage on the sales generated by your group – another great way to be rewarded for building your team. - Generation Commission
Once you advance to the rank of Silver, you immediately become a "generation" and begin to earn an additional 3% on certain sales in your organization. STAR Performance Bonus
In addition to the Start Living Bonus, the Star Performance Bonus pays you 25% of your new distributors' first month's orders, and 15% on their second month's orders.*
For example:
- Enroll a new distributor.
- He or she enrolls with a Start Living with Everyday Oils kit (115 PV)
- You receive the $25 Start Living Bonus plus 25% of the 115 PV — an additional $28.75 — making your check $53.75!
- That same distributor places a 100 PV order their second month, and you receive 15% of that PV, or $15.
The best part?
You earn this bonus on every new distributor you enroll. If you enroll six distributors with Start Living with Everyday Oils kits (115 PV) who then all place 100 PV orders in their second month:
- Your first month's check includes: $150 Start Living Bonus ($25 per enrollee) plus another $172.50 (25% of each distributor's 115 PV order) for a total of $322.50!
- In the second month, even if you don't enroll any new distributors, you would receive a $90 check (15% of each distributor's 100 PV order).
- However, say you enroll six more new distributors in month two with a Start Living with Everyday Oils Kit, your second month's check is $412.50 ($150 Start Living Bonus on new distributors, $172.50 Star Performance Bonus on new distributors, plus $90 second month distributors' Star Performance Bonus).
MATCHING Bonus
The third bonus offered by Young Living, the Matching Bonus, is earned by helping your distributors enroll others. When your distributors earn a Star Performance Bonus, Young Living matches that bonus and pays you that same amount for their first three months as distributors.***

TEAM PERFORMANCE Bonus
Our most exciting bonus is the Team Performance Bonus. It was created to help guide your business structure and provide long-term stability. It rewards you for enrolling distributors in our Essential Rewards program.
Here's how it works:
Step One:
- Every month you must be a qualified distribuytor with an Essential Rewards order ($100 PV).
- Build a team of six qualified first-level distributors who invest $100 PV each month on their Essential Rewards order.
- You must have $1,500 PGV**** (Personal Group Volume)
- You receive a $100 Bonus every month. This is in addition to all other bonuses and commissions.

Step Two:
- You must be qualified for the $100 Bonus.
- Help two members of your first-level team become qualified for the $100 Bonus by creating their own teams of six qualified distributors.
- You receive a $500 Bonus every month.

Step Three:
- You must be qualified for the $500 Bonus.
- Help two members of your first-level team become qualified for the $500 bonus.
- You receive a $2,000 Bonus every month.

Note: These bonuses come to you every month the structure is maintained.

****PGV is the total amount of sales volume in an organization down to, but not including, the next Executive or above for any Silver rank distributors. PGV for Gold distributors and above is the total amount of sales volume in an organization down to, but not including, the next Silver or above. Silver distributors' monthly PGV must be 1,000 or more. Gold distributors' monthly PGV must be 1,500 or more, and Platinum and above PGV must be 2,000 or more. PGV includes personal orders and those placed by customers.

How Do You Receive $1,000,000 a year with Young Living's compensation plan?
Enroll 6 distributors on your first level who will build with you, and a few others who will be great customers and share with a few friends. Teach the 6 builders to do the same, and continue to teach this model, downline. Note: This model assumes that an average order for a Distributor will be $200, which it was for our group in December, 2005. The following is the math of what will happen:

After your group has gotten to the third stage of this process, and you have created a group that has 6 building distributors on the first level, they each have their 6, and that second group has their 6, you will be a Silver. Then, instead of earning 5% on your first five levels, you also earn an additional 3% on your entire group, so the 5% commission becomes 8% in the first 5 levels!
Then, when a Silver develops under you, you begin to earn 4% instead of 3% on the volume below them. So for the part of the volume that falls within your first 5 levels, you are now earning 9%. This almost doubles your income from the 5% that is displayed above.
To receive a million dollars a year requires an income of $83,333 per month. With this structure in your unilevel (commissions on the first 5 levels in your group), your commission check will be well in excess of $1,000,000 a year by the time you successfully achieve this structure. Additionally, there are Performance bonuses that will also kick in, adding another $2,000 a month to your income.
Let's look at what happens when you get to Diamond, with 6 Silver legs, and go from earning 5% to 8% on those first five levels, plus the Performance Bonus:

That's almost $2,000,000 a year, and some people WILL achieve this, over time and others WILL achieve this in 90 days!!! And this only reflects what is going on in your first 5 levels — by the time you reach this level, you will also have substantial volume in the levels below your first 5.
So go take a good look at your organization structure, and see how far along you are toward this goal. Do you have 6 builders on your first level and other, smaller groups developing?
